According to Hamilton’s theory of Kin Selection, all living animals will have the desire to save their off-spring because they are connected by their genes and their blood. This is the natural instinct that the parent will do in order to save one’s offspring. A person should not expect an intrinsic reward for doing well because this is not how the society is run. We need to sacrifice many things that are necessary in order to do something good. If we look at how a parent saves an offspring, the parent should not expect for a reward because it is not the right way to think. I believe that a meaning of “good” is just too vague. Even though no one may have seen someone doing a good job, if the person that fulfilled their task, he or she is good. If the person himself or herself feels that they have done something that makes them think that it will benefit others, then it is goods.
